Problems with outgoing mail

If you have problems with sending email when using our SMTP server, there are a few primary possibilities.

Incorrect SMTP settings

Check your SMTP settings to make sure your email client is configured with the right settings, as the default settings for most clients will not work. In particular, as of March 9, 2007, you must be using secure authenticated SMTP to connect to the OCF.

Problems with OCF servers

A less common problem is that our servers are overloaded, or for some other reason, not accepting connections. If you've checked the above sections and your problem has been going on for some time, then email us and let us know.
